For layering this winter, here is our CPO pattern issued in a newly developped fabric: The MFSC 189-od “Off Duty” CPO shirt. Meant to be worn as an overshirt, over a chambray shirt, stripe jersey etc…
SPECS:
PATTERN: An all original MFSC pattern, inspired by 1920’s-30’s military/uniform shirting.
FABRIC: A plain weave exclusive original MFSC all cotton fabric, 10 oz., woven indigo and natural yarns, milled in Japan. Unsanforized, shrinkage up to 5%. Inspiration behind this original fabric came from a vintage pair of 1920’s USN wool trousers. The inner lining and pocket bags were made of a plain weave indigo/ivory cotton fabric, about 7 Oz.
DETAILS: Metal military snaps, long chin strap, elbow reinforcement, double shoulder patch, yoke back, selvedge blue chambray side gussets, buttoned belly flap, triple snap wrists, indigo popeline/blue chambray facing, underarm blue chambray gussets, inside chest passport pocket…
WASHING: Although minimal bleeding is expected due to the indigo yarn, this one is low-maintenace. Can be washed/dryed when needed.
