Mister Freedom® x Sugar Cane Co SS2026 mfsc “The JOE GREENE” Collection line-up:

This season is a stylistic tribute to the heartthrob and natural born world-shaker known as “The Joe Greene”, love bandit and tough guy — harder than Chinese poetry at the ER — , and our permanent “Employee of the Month” at the ol’ pile o’ rags.
Greene because Joe lived on Greene Avenue in Los Angeles with his OG parents, for most of his 14 years of happy earthly presence. He touched many lives. During his senior years, I became Joe’s private chef, barnacle, and he turned me into a well-trained house pet. Joe called the shots. In return, he made my world a better place…

Thank you, my King, fair winds and following seas. I’ll see you on that distant shore, Poum Poumsh.

Our SS2026 line-up consists of:

 

MF® x SUN SURF® ROCK’n’ROLL SHIRT, “The Joe Greene” SS2026 Edition (Japan):

Our recurring collaboration with the Sun Surf® label, renowned purveyor of authentic vintage reproductions of Aloha-type shirts. This “Joe G” edition features original doodles of The Joe, sprinkled with a string of international nicknames he was given, mostly had-to-be-there types of onomatopoeias.
This classic 100% rayon shirt has a 1940s~50s vibe, and is cut ~1” longer than previous editions of our Rock’n’Roll shirts.

MF® SPORTSMAN Chinos SS2026, NOS Selvedge Denim, Khaki & Double Indigo (USA):

Our classic “work chinos” cut, high waist and comfortable leg, in two NOS premium selvedge denims.
a) Khaki selvedge denim, 11 Oz, origin Japan.
b) Dark double indigo selvedge denim, ~13 Oz, Japan.

MF® ROCKETEER Jacket SS2026, Indigo Canvas (Japan):

An original MF® pattern borrowing from vintage “gas station” type jackets, cut in a dark indigo warp x indigo weft canvas, 9 Oz, milled in Japan.

 

MF® WATERTOWN Shirt T2 SS2026, Selvedge Chambray, Beige & Indigo (Japan):

A classic 1950s style short-sleeve shirt, “Capri” collar, side slits, for that untucked summer vibe. Cut in two premium chambray fabrics, selvedge, 100% cotton, 6 Oz, milled in Japan. Selvedge displayed on button placket, contrast orange/gold stitching.
a) Beige chambray.
b) Indigo warp x black weft chambray.

 

 

MF® RANCH BLOUSE & CALIFORNIAN Lot64 SS2026, “Pacific” Selvedge Denim (USA):

The classic MF® Ranch Blouse and Californian Lot64 combo, in a visually-striking 12 Oz selvedge denim displaying a lighter indigo warp. Milled in Japan, this specific “Pacific” denim shade of indigo falls between our previously-released Malibu and Ice denims.
This Ranch Blouse edition features a set of mfsc branded brass snaps instead of our traditional tack buttons.

 

MF® RANCH BLOUSE & CALIFORNIAN Lot64 SS2026, “Trad” Selvedge Denim (USA):

MF® Ranch Blouse and Californian Lot64 classic combo, cut in a “traditional” premium selvedge denim, dark indigo warp yarn, 13.75 Oz, milled in Japan.

 

MF® RANCH KERCHIEF “JV” (Japan):

Our latest vintage-inspired Old West kerchief, 24’’ x 23’’ large format bandana. One selvedge border, 100% cotton, full bleed-through water-based ink, printed in Japan.

 

MF® ARISTOCRAT Shirt, NOS “Riviera” Woven Stripe (USA):

Our original un-pretentious dress shirt pattern, cut in a fancy NOS woven stripe all-cotton fabric, probable Italian origin. Side gussets, genuine Mother-of-Pearl shell buttons.

 

MF® x VEB 2025 Collab: BELT & STRONGMAN Cuffs  (USA):

Strongman: Proudly announcing our collaboration with our friend JV — another one of Joe’s dads — from VEB Leather  for this updated version of the Strongman Cuffs. Featuring a genuine vintage 10c “Lindauer” coin (a classic in numismatic circles, a coin in circulation in France from 1914 to 1946.) Each cuff features a coin from that date range, a stylistic reference to period “Trench-Art” from French troops during WW1, when coins were often used to customize belts, make rings etc.
You never know, you might get lucky!

Cuffs now available in two adjustable sizes:  S/M (fits small/medium wrist) and M/L (fits medium/large wrist)
All hand made, with hand-set copper rivets. Two color options:
a) natural veg-tan
b) Black hand-dyed tea-core natural veg-tan.

Belt: Also introducing our first leather belt, exclusively built by VEB Leather, showcasing JV’s high quality craftsmanship and experience in designing and creating leather accessories.
Thick full-grain cowhide premium leather, veg-tan. Hand-dyed. Natural/tea-core Seal Brown/tea-core Black.
Classic slim 1 ¼’’ width, nickel “Garrison” buckle, hand-set copper rivets, decorative genuine vintage 10c “Lindauer” coin, size 30-32-34-36-38.

Our classic tubular T-Shirt, 100% cotton slub knit, now available in an attractive dark brown color option.

As always, besides the classic vintage style references, the common thread in all these original garments is the Mister Freedom® on-going commitment to ethical manufacturing, original designs, and resistance to fast fashion, with styles that will easily incorporate into one’s existing classic wardrobe, and get passed-on to the next generation.
